Unfortunately, due to work commitments, the Ultima build took a back seat during July through October. It is now our goal to complete all of the first 8 stages by the end of the year.
We made the decision that we would not rivet the inside alloy panels first, all panels were measured and ready to be fitted. We then turned the chassis over and completed all work on the underneath. Riveting all panels in place.
We ran sealant around the underneath of seat positions to add additional protection where the welds are

All floor panels riveted in place, time to turn the chassis back over!
With the chassis back the right way up we set about fitting the rear bulkhead panel followed by the side panels. Having looked at various other build site we decided now was the best time to make cut-outs for speakers. The majoity of Ultima's seem to have speakers located in the below position. With speakers purchased we went about make the alterations.
